Curated by and named after Philadelphia’s own critically acclaimed band The Roots, The Roots Picnic is a full a day of incredible hip-hop and R&B music at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts. The major music event has become a Philly summer tradition — something of an annual reunion, really — and features performances from some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B. Each year The Roots are joined by an incredible selection of artists, which in the past have included Pharrell, Lil Wayne, Solange and more. The Art Bully was one of the festivals featured visual artists for 2019.
